My name is Gabrianne Ivey and I am a sophomore at Appstate. I am majoring in Cell/molecular biology and minoring in dance, chemistry and mathematics

Well, not exactly, that is my name, but I don’t want to bore with traditional introductions. After all, my education is not exactly traditional– I was homeschool my entire life and now I get this awesome opportunity to intern abroad in Kenya!

So here is a rough poem to describe my reasoning behind this blog (note about the poem, I like cadence, but I’m not a poet) 🙂
